第67回フランクフルトモーターショー

第67回フランクフルトモーターショー (the 67th IAA Cars)は、2017年9月14日〜24日フランクフルト展示会場で開催された。

約20万平方メートルの展示スペースでは、世界39カ国から約1000社の出展社（ドイツ国外からの出展が41％）が出展し、228のワールドプレミアがを含む、363の新技術が公開された。来場者数は、約81万人で、前回（2015年）の約93万人よりも大幅に減少したが、ソーシャルメディア利用による展示情報へのアスセスは、4,500万を超えIAAの認知度は高い。今回のIAAの展示会のテーマは、デジタル化と電動化(digitalization and electric movement)で、今後の自動運転システムや電気自動車の開発に係るコンセプト展示が多数見られた。Porscheはクリーンディーゼルを継続する姿勢を表明している。欧州ではディーゼル車の比率が大変高く、完全な電気自動車への移行を早期に実現するのは現実的には難しい状況だ。

ニューモビリティワールド（NMW）では、空飛ぶ自動車の展示など、近未来を想起される展示が行われた。また、自動車産業でなく、ITテクノロジー企業の存在が目をひいた。
